Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 17, 2026

1. The seller

Memora ("Memora", "we", "us"). By using the service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Memora records audio and produces speaker-labelled AI transcripts. You are responsible for recording lawfully, including obtaining any consent required by the jurisdictions of the people you record.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service unlawfully or to record people without required consent;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • upload malware, spam, or content that is hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or otherwise illegal;
  • probe, scan, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the security of the service;
  • resell or redistribute the service without permission.

4. AI outputs

Transcripts and summaries are generated by AI and may be inaccurate. They are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying them before relying on them.

5. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account.

6. Intellectual property

We own the Memora service, software, branding, and documentation. You retain rights to the audio and transcripts in your account. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to provide the service.

7. Payments, billing, tax, refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our refund policy is at /refund-policy.

8. Service availability

The service is provided "as is" with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance. We disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at fees you paid in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means acceptance.

12. Contact
